CaregiverCrew works because families and caregivers treat each other with honesty and respect. These guidelines apply to everyone on the platform.
Be honest
- Caregivers: describe your experience, training and availability accurately. Do not claim certifications you do not hold.
- Families: describe care needs accurately, including mobility, memory and behavior, so caregivers can decide whether they are a good fit.
- Reviews must reflect real experiences from completed bookings.
Be respectful
- No discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
- No harassment, threats, insults or inappropriate messages.
- Respect privacy: do not share other people's personal information outside the platform.
Stay safe
- Keep messages and payments on CaregiverCrew.
- Never send money by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency to someone you met on the platform.
- Meet in person before the first booking and trust your instincts.
- Caregivers: stay within non-medical tasks unless you hold the right license and the law allows it.
